We live and work in Monte Vista, Colorado, located near the Rio Grande River in southern Colorado. Monte Vista is a farming community in the San Luis Valley known for its great potatoes, the Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge, The Great Sand Dunes National Park and the Rio Grande National Forest.

We have five children--Jennifer, Liane, Michelle, Brian and Colin; and we have fourteen grandchildren.
